565 Deputy Arthur Morgan asked the Minister for Education and Science when funding will be provided for construction of permanent school buildings at a school (details supplied) in County Louth; the reason funding has not been made available in this case; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe project to provide a new permanent school building for the school referred to by the Deputy has been sanctioned to commence architectural planning and has started the process of appointing a design team. The progress on major capital projects such as this new school building will be considered on an on-going basis in the context of the Department's Multi-Annual School Building and Modernisation Programme. In the interim period the Department has sanctioned one further temporary classroom for the school for September 2008.
