133 Deputy Charles Flanagan asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if he will seek a report from the Irish Prison Service on the transfer without reason or adequate explanation of a person (details supplied); and if he is satisfied that proper and accepted procedure and practice were adopted and followed. I am advised by the Director General of the Irish Prison Service that the Officer in question was transferred for operational reasons and was advised accordingly. I am satisfied that proper procedures were followed in this case.
