296 Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Health and Children if a review will be undertaken regarding the pension pay and lump sum and if the calculation of same will be finalised in the case of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The Health Service Executive administers the pension scheme in question and therefore is the appropriate organisation to address the Deputy's query. My Department has requested the Parliamentary Affairs Division of the Executive to arrange to have the matter investigated and to have a reply issued to the Deputy.
