343 Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform if An Garda Síochána have conducted searches of flights by an airline (details supplied) landing in Shannon Airport. [35540/08]
View answerAs the Deputy will be aware, it is not the policy of the Garda Síochána to comment on security matters. I am advised by the Garda authorities, however, that local Garda management is satisfied that the measures currently in place are appropriate to ensure the safety and security of personnel, staff and passengers at the airport.
