574 Deputy Catherine Byrne asked the Minister for Education and Science the status of an application for a school building project (details supplied) in Dublin 10; when building work will begin; if he will ensure this project is completed without further delay; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerMy Department has received an application for major capital funding from the school to which the Deputy refers. The commencement and progression of all large scale building projects from initial design stage through to construction phase, including this project, will be considered in the context of my Department's Multi-annual School Building and Modernisation Programme. However, in light of current competing demands on the capital budget of the Department, it is not possible to give an indicative timeframe for the progression of this project at this time.
