276 Deputy Pat Breen asked the Minister for Transport his proposals to postpone, pending a review in 2011, the decentralisation of the Irish Aviation Authority headquarters to Shannon; the implications of this decision for the staff transferred to Shannon; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerMy Department is due to meet the Department of Finance in early November to discuss the implications of the recent Government Budget announcement on decentralisation for both this Department and the relevant agencies. No Irish Aviation Authority staff have transferred to Shannon in the context of proposals to decentralise the IAA headquarters to that location.
