235 Deputy Michael Creed asked the Minister for Transport the number of staff employed in his Department’s press office; if he will outline the role and function of his Department’s press office and its relationship with his own press office; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There is only one press office in the Department in which there are four staff. The Press Office is responsible for the management and dissemination of information to the media.
