229 Deputy Eamon Gilmore asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of persons employed in the estates department of the Health Service Executive and the number of such employees who were permanent staff and contract workers in respect of each of the past five years; the number of contract staff who have had their contracts extended during the past five years; the policy in regard to the use of full time and contract staff in the estates department; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
