63 Deputy Liz McManus asked the Minister for Defence if he has received a report regarding the helicopter emergency which arose in Killarney, County Kerry on 2 March 2009; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [9774/09]
View answerI am advised by General Officer Commanding Air Corps that a comprehensive investigation into the precautionary landing of an Air Corps AW139 helicopter on 2 March has been initiated. A full report into the incident will be provided to me following technical discussions with the helicopter manufacturer, and on foot of analysis and interpretation of the Flight Data Recorder held on board the helicopter in question.
