298 Deputy Joan Burton asked the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism if his Department is taking part in the cycle-to-work scheme or plans to do so in the near future; the agencies and bodies under the aegis of his Department taking part in the cycle-to-work scheme and those which are not; and the impact the implementation of decentralisation will have on participation in the scheme. The Department is currently taking part in the cycle to work scheme. There are no implications for participation in the scheme as a result of the decentralisation process.

The operation of the scheme by the agencies under the aegis of the Department is a day to day matter for the agencies themselves.
