The School to which the Deputy refers to made an application for 2 projects under the 2008 Summer Works Scheme.

One project was for the replacement of two Prefabs, this application was deemed invalid as it was not within the scope of the scheme. The other project was for External environmental works. This application was unsuccessful as the school did not demonstrate that the project was absolutely necessary.

A letter notifying the school authority of these decisions was issued to the school in June 2009.
