269 Deputy John Cregan asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the status of an application for funding by a voluntary housing association (details supplied) to his Department; if he will confirm that the application has met all relevant criteria and will be approved should funding become available. Having regard to the existing high level of commitments under the Capital Assistance Scheme it has not been possible to approve this scheme. The scheme will, however, be considered for approval in the context of the 2010 Estimates considerations and my Department's capital investment programme.
