View answerI would refer the Deputy to my reply to Parliamentary Question No 960 of 24 September, 2008. No representations have been received from, or on behalf of the person in question as to why a Deportation Order should not be made in respect of him.
The person's status in the State is currently being considered in the context of section 3 of the Immigration Act 1999, and when a decision in that regard has been made, the person concerned will be contacted direct and notified accordingly.
