1100 Deputy John McGuinness asked the Minister for Education and Science the progress made in accepting a tender for a building project at a school (details supplied) in County Kilkenny; if the contractor has been approved; the expected completion date; and if he will make a statement on the matter. A revised tender report, for the school to which the Deputy refers, was received recently by my Department and is currently being assessed. I expect my officials to be in contact with the Board of Management in the coming days authorising them to commence the award process.
