543 Deputy Ruairí Quinn asked the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform his plans to introduce an annual check up for all members of An Garda Síochána aged over 35 years in order that they comply with the physical duties of being a garda; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I am informed by the Garda authorities that there are currently no plans to introduce an annual check up for members of An Garda Síochána aged over 35 years.
