View answerThe receipt of gifts by an office holder is covered under The Ethics in Public Office Act, 1995 (as amended by the Standards in Public Office Act, 2001) and requires the office holder to provide a statement of Registerable Interests on an annual basis to the Standards in Public Office Commission. These statements are subsequently published by the Standards in Public Office commission and can be viewed on their website www.sipo.gov.ie. The information is also available on the Oireachtas website www.oireachtas.ie.
