1050 Deputy Brian Hayes asked the Minister for Education and Science further to Parliamentary Question No. 404 of 15 December 2009, if the five further construction school projects identified by him which were due to commence construction on site before the end of 2009, have commenced on site on or before this date. View answerI informed the Deputy on the 15th of December 2009 that I expected "up to 5 further projects will commence on site before the end of 2009". Two of the five projects commenced on site in late 2009. The remaining three projects experienced delays due to the adverse weather conditions over the Christmas period. However I am please to inform the Deputy that the remaining three projects subsequently commenced on site in the first week of January.
