418 Deputy Jan O’Sullivan asked the Minister for Social and Family Affairs the support available for a self-employed person whose business is viable but is not returning a living wage; if that person can claim income support; if there are circumstances in which they could avail retrospectively of the back to work allowance or a similar payment, in order to keep the business afloat until the economy improves; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
