592 Deputy Joanna Tuffy asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government if he will provide details of all cross-Border programmes, initiatives, areas of co-operation and so on in which his Department is engaging, or in which it is about to engage, with its counterparts in Northern Ireland; and if he will make a statement on the matter. There is ongoing co-operation between my Department and the Department of Environment in Northern Ireland and other relevant agencies in a wide range of areas. Information on 12 such areas of activity is being compiled and will be forwarded to the Deputy as soon as possible.
