82 Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Health and Children if she will ensure that resources needed for additional beds and staffing at Beamont Hospital, Dublin, for the kidney transplant unit will be provided in order to maximise the number of transplants which can be performed; if all kidneys that become available here are used here. 83 Deputy Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin asked the Minister for Health and Children the level of co-operation there is between the health systems in the North and South of Ireland with regard to kidney transplants; if there is scope for further co-operation; the discussions she has had with her counterpart in the Northern Executive on this matter; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
