430 Deputy Leo Varadkar asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the number of meetings he has had with the European Commissioner for Research, Innovation and Science or the staff of the relevant Directorate General in the past two years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have not had any meetings with the Commissioner responsible for innovation or with the Directorate in question over the past two years. I have met with the Environment, and with the Enterprise and Industry Commissioners on issues related to the business of my Department over that period.
