Written answers

In the context of the development of broadcasting policy, my officials and I have cause, on a regular basis, to meet with the various interests that comprise the broadcasting sector. This includes interaction with the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland, as well as meetings with commercial and public service broadcasters, independent producers and other stakeholders. I am not in a position to inform the Deputy on the precise nature of the discussions I have with the Authority.
