324 Deputy Alan Shatter asked the Minister for Health and Children the progress made towards the funding and provision of a 116000 telephone number for the reporting of cases of missing children in keeping with the EU Universal Service Directive; and if she will make a statement on the matter. The issues raised by the Deputy appear to be a matter for the Department of Justice Equality and Law Reform. However, I regret that due to industrial action my Department is not in a position to provide a substantive response to the Deputy's Question.
