149 Deputy Arthur Morgan asked the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment the number of county enterprise funds that exist in the State; the level of funding that has been granted to each of these funds in each of the past five years by his Department in a tabular format on a county basis; if there is a ceiling on the level of loans to be awarded from each fund per application; the person who is the accounting authority in each case; and if there is an annual audit report in respect of each fund. There are 6 County Enterprise Fund Companies. They are separate, individual legal entities and my Department has no function in relation to their activities. My Department does not allocate funding to these companies. The companies are subject to the provisions of the Companies Acts.
