98 Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Transport his views on changing the law to designate specific spaces on public buses and trains for wheelchair users only, to ensure they are not left behind at rush hour and at other busy times; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I have asked CIE to report to me in regard to whether legislation is required or whether there are alternative means to address the issue raised by the Deputy. I will give consideration to any proposals from the Company.
