937 Deputy Joe Carey asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Education and Science the progress made to date regarding the provision of an extension/refurbishment works at a school (details supplied) in County Clare; when construction will commence; and if she will make a statement on the matter. View answerAs the Deputy will be aware, on 16 February my predecessor announced details of 51 major school building projects that will appoint design teams this year.
I am pleased to inform the Deputy that the project for the school in question was included in this announcement and is expected to have a Design Team appointed later this year. My Department will contact the school regarding the procedure for this appointment in due course.
