150 Deputy Fergus O’Dowd asked the Minister for Health and Children the amount paid in each of the past five years in respect of IT Services supplied to her Department, in tabular form; the nature of the service provided; if there were tenders sought for each such contract; the successful company or person; the number of staff employed in her Department’s IT sections; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe information in respect of my Department is set out in the following table showing the estimated spend inclusive of VAT in relation to the provision of information technology services by a range of external providers. In relation to the services contracted for relevant procurements guidelines were followed in all cases. The complement of staff currently in the internal ICT Unit stands at 8.6 staff.
