126 Deputy Bernard J. Durkan asked the Minister for Finance when a tax refund will be awarded in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [19659/10]
View answerI have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the person in question is currently under audit by them. Agreement has not yet been reached with the person's agent on the liability arising from the audit. Correspondence detailing settlement liabilities and requesting agreement issued to the agent on 8 March 2010, but as yet, no reply has been received. Once agreement is reached any refund that may be due will be made.
