125 Deputy Noel Ahern asked the Minister for Health and Children the services to which MS patients are entitled and, in the case of a person (details supplied) in Dublin 11, if the district nurse will be scheduled to call on this person regularly; the health service including overtime involved in providing or supporting changes to their driveway ramp; if funding has been provided for a special medical bed; and if amended correct medical card will be provided. I regret that due to industrial action affecting the Health Service Executive, it is not possible for the Executive to supply the information requested. If this matter remains of continuing concern to you, I would invite you to raise it with me again in due course. However, I would also recommend that you inform the individual mentioned that it is open to them to contact their local health office directly in relation to health services and their local authority in relation to changes to their driveway ramp.
