View answerThe person concerned was, as an exceptional measure, granted temporary permission to remain in the State for a six month period to 10 December 2009. This decision was conveyed to the person concerned by letter dated 10 June 2009. This permission was, by letter dated 16 December 2009, renewed for a further three month period, to 10 March 2010. The person concerned is, as is any other person in such circumstances, required to apply in writing for the renewal of this permission one month in advance of its expiry date.
As the person concerned did not apply for the renewal of this permission within the specified time frame, he was reminded of the requirement that he do so by letter dated 27 April 2010. As my Department's records show no evidence of such a renewal application having been received to date, it is recommended that the person concerned should do so without further delay.
