30 Deputy Ruairí Quinn asked the Minister for Tourism, Culture and Sport her plans to work with the Department of Education and Skills to implement the recommendations of the Arts in Education report; and if she will make a statement on the matter. [36707/10]
View answerI refer the Deputy to my previous answers in the House on this issue. The Deputy will recall that this Report contained a number of wide-ranging recommendations which impacted on the work of this Department, the Department of Education and Skills and the Arts Council. In the light of the financial and other resource implications of these recommendations, many of which fall into the remit of my colleague, the Minister for Education and Skills, their implementation will be kept under review in the light of future allocations and changing Exchequer circumstances.
