391 Deputy Fergus O’Dowd asked the Minister for Social Protection if any printing contracts for his Department were awarded or given to any company from outside the State in each of the past three years, and if so the company appointed and their location; the amount of the contract; if tendering took place; and if he will make a statement on the matter. All sourced printing contracts are awarded by the Department following competitive processes which are carried out strictly in accordance with government procurement guidelines and in line with the relevant EU procurement policies. All print contracts in the past three years were placed with companies based within the State.
