197 Deputy Pat Rabbitte asked the Minister for Justice and Law Reform if his attention has been drawn to allegations of dereliction of duty by a number of the gardaí at a location (details supplied); if he is satisfied that the matter has been properly and fairly investigated; his views on whether it is acceptable that a conscientious garda can be scapegoated merely for seeking to provide an honest service to the public; if he will outline the position regarding the investigation at this Garda station; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
