161 Deputy Arthur Morgan asked the Minister for Health and Children the number of advanced paramedics deployed full-time in the north east Health Service Executive region and in each of the past three years; the location to which each advanced paramedic was deployed; the projected numbers of advanced paramedics to be deployed in this region for each of the next three years; the number of training places available for training to advanced paramedic level for applicants in the north east region; the frequency with which advanced paramedics are deployed to patient transport that brings them out of the region and for approximately how long on average each time; the level of cover in place in the region on such occasions; and if she will make a statement on the matter.
