View answerThe overall yield in 2010 from the carbon tax, inclusive of VAT, is estimated at around €240 million, with the estimated yield in a full year being €330 million. I am informed by the Revenue Commissioners that since the introduction of carbon taxes in 2010 the yields, by category, to end October are as follows:
