37 Deputy Deirdre Clune asked the Minister for the Environment, Heritage and Local Government the steps he will take to address the findings of the recently published National Housing Development Survey which revealed that 33,000 homes are either complete and vacant or nearly complete in 2,800 ghost estates across the country; if action will be taken quickly in view of the fact that these homes are currently vacant and are becoming increasingly derelict; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
