422 Deputy Richard Bruton asked the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Innovation if he has the power to require retail outlet operators here and in other countries to reveal the profit margins they make from their Irish operations; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [2114/11]

The contents of the financial statements of companies are governed by relevant EU Company Law Directives and Regulations and by the applicable accounting standards. In relation to the Deputy's question I have no such power.
