Question:151 Deputy Seymour Crawford asked the Minister for Justice and Law Reform the length of time it normally takes for a person from another European state to have his or her application for Irish citizenship dealt with, providing everything is in order; if there is any danger of having to pay more towards the cost of same at the time the citizenship is actually granted as against the time citizenship is applied for; if there is any way he or she can be guaranteed that it will be for the amount originally advised; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
