Written answers

None of the State Bodies that come under the remit of my Department are commercial, and, accordingly, their financial reports provide details in respect of their income and expenditure rather than on their "annual turnover" as requested by the Deputy.

Such financial information is published in the Annual Reports and/or Annual Accounts of each Agency each year following consideration by the Comptroller and Auditor General and is available in the Oireachtas Library or on the websites of the Agencies concerned. As all the information sought has been made available to Deputies through the Library and can be sourced directly from publicly available material, resource constraints militate against the compilation of the information requested for the last five years.

The Agencies concerned are:

1. Enterprise Ireland,

2. IDA Ireland,

3. Science Foundation Ireland,

4. Shannon Development,

5. County & City Enterprise Boards (35),

6. National Standards Authority of Ireland,

7. InterTradeIreland (the North / South Trade & Business Development Body),

8. Forfas,

9. National Consumer Agency,

10. Competition Authority,

11. Irish Auditing and Accounting Standards Authority,

12. Personal Injuries Assessment Board,

13. Health & Safety Authority, and

14. Labour Relations Commission.
