47 Deputy Emmet Stagg asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children the number of children and adults assessed as requiring occupational therapy and who are awaiting the provision of same in the Kildare and west Wicklow and the average waiting time for the commencement of treatment. 49 Deputy Emmet Stagg asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children her plans to reduce the waiting times for assessment of children for occupational therapy in Kildare and west Wicklow which at present stands at one year. [4428/11]

50 Deputy Emmet Stagg asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children the number of speech and language therapists employed in the speech and language therapist service in Kildare and west Wicklow and the number that would be required to meet the demand of the service in view of the fact that on the 30 June 2010 there were over 2,000 children awaiting either therapy or assessment. 48 Deputy Emmet Stagg asked the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children the number of occupational therapist employed in the occupational therapy service in Kildare and west Wicklow and the number that would actually be required to deal with the workload in the area. [4427/11]
