77 Deputy John Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and Food the reason for the delay in payment of the 2010 single farm payment in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; if he will expedite payment; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [5460/11]
View answerThe application under the 2010 Single Payment Scheme, received from the person named on 4 May 2010, included 26 land parcels, 15 of which required re-digitisation. Payments under the 2010 Single Payment Scheme commenced nationally on 18 October 2010 and, while payments issued to the person, these were on the basis of those land parcels that were clear for payment on each date. The digitising of a number of parcels has been completed, which will now allow the remaining payment to issue shortly to the person named.
