View answerThe Health Service Executive has advised that there is no record of an application for rent supplement from the person concerned. If the person concerned wishes to make an application for rent supplement he should contact the local Community Welfare Officer.

View answerA person returning to full-time employment does not qualify for rent supplement unless they have been assessed by the local authority as being eligible for accommodation under the rental accommodation scheme. The Health Service Executive has advised that the person concerned is awaiting such an assessment from the local authority. When this assessment has been completed their entitlement to rent supplement can then be decided.
