173 Deputy Dessie Ellis asked the Minister for Education and Skills the date on which the building of a school (details supplied) will begin; the date on which this will be completed; if his attention has been drawn to the present unacceptable situation where children are currently attending classes in prefab buildings and his plans to urgently address same; and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerI am pleased to be able to confirm to the Deputy that a major project for the school to which he refers was included on the list of projects on the work programme for 2011, which was announced on 24 January 2011, where briefs will be formulated in 2011 and the process of appointing a Design Team will commence. My officials will be in further contact with the school authority in due course relating to the steps to be taken to progress the project.
