74 Deputy Michael Creed asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources the number of staff employed directly in his Department in 1995, 2000, 2005 and 2010; if he will provide details regarding the numbers in each Civil Service grade for the same years; and if he will make a statement on the matter. The Department of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources was established in June 2007. At the end of December 2007, the total number of staff in the Department was 339. The following table sets out the staff numbers in each grade on 31 December 2010:
