307 Deputy Dominic Hannigan asked the Minister for Communications, Energy and Natural Resources the number of State agencies or organisations under his remit which are paid up members of the Irish Business and Employers Confederation; the name of each agency or organisation; the amount each State agency or organisation paid to the Irish Business and Employers Confederation for the years 2007 to date in 2011, inclusive; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I can inform the Deputy that the payment of subscriptions by State Agencies in respect of corporate membership of organisations, including Irish Business and Employers Confederation is a day-to-day operational issue for the agencies themselves.
