56 Deputy Patrick O’Donovan asked the Minister for Finance if a person (details supplied) in County Wexford will be allowed more time from the Revenue Commissioners to enable them to get the tax affairs of their company in order; and if he will make a statement on the matter. [13967/11]
View answerI am informed by Revenue that the person concerned has failed to meet the terms of a phased payment arrangement entered into in recent months with Revenue and is failing to meet current tax payment and filing obligations as they arise. The debt concerned is now the subject of active consideration for enforcement action by Revenue. The person concerned should immediately contact Revenue directly if a fresh proposal for payment of the debt is contemplated.
