557 Deputy Joe McHugh asked the Minister for Justice and Equality the number of consultancy reports commissioned by his Department between 1997 and January 2011; the cost of commissioning each report; if he will provide information on the implementation of recommendations set out in each report; and if he will make a statement on the matter. I wish to inform the Deputy that the information requested is not readily available. Given the period of time concerned and amount of detail sought the information requested could only be compiled by the use of a disproportionate and inordinate amount of staff time and effort.
