889 Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh asked the Minister for Health if his attention has been drawn to the number of social care workers serving the Dublin west area that have been cut by 50%; his views that this will leave many families in extremely vulnerable positions and may force older persons into residential care, when care in the home may previously have been a viable option with the support of social workers in the community; and the steps he will take to reverse the cut.
