104 Deputy Sean Fleming asked the Taoiseach if he will publish the details of his Department’s submission and all correspondence to the Department of Public Expenditure and Reform for consideration as part of the comprehensive spending review. [23479/11]
View answerDepartmental submissions to the Comprehensive Review of Expenditure (CRE) are a central part of the overall pre-budget deliberations of the Government. As such, release of these documents could not be considered in advance of Government decisions on the forthcoming Budget. I would envisage that the reports submitted as part of the CRE process can be made available publicly following the completion of the budgetary and Estimates process.
