171 Deputy Michael McNamara asked the Minister for Public Expenditure and Reform if he will explain the delays in carrying out the conveyance of lands for the development of a new coast guard station at Doolin, County Clare (details supplied); and if he will make a statement on the matter. View answerThe Commissioners of Public Works have been informed by the Chief State Solicitor's Office that the case involves a number of complex conveyancing issues; in particular, the easement required for the provision of drainage from the proposed coast guard station, which extends through several different properties. The Commissioners have been assured by the Chief State Solicitor's Office that the case is receiving urgent attention and will be dealt with as a matter of priority.
